Annual Meeting Majorca 2006 completed

The Annual Meeting 2006 on Majorca has been successfully completed. During an introductory half-day training session on Bioinformatics, Luis Serrano and Matthias Mann discussed "Protein Design: Myths and Facts" and the "Informatics Challenges in Mass Spectrometry Based Interaction Studies" with the young researchers of the consortium.

The project´s progress was reported in the following two days in well over twenty workpackage presentations and stimulated lively discussions amongst participants from all partner labs and at all levels of seniority. The meeting confirmed that Interaction Proteome is well on track in all aspects of research and has become a very well integrated multidisciplinary consortium.

The location and weather contributed perfectly to an effective meeting in a relaxed environment, where scientific discussions even kept going during the obligatory swim in the sea at lunch time. Some impressions of the setting and the project dinner are available here.

Slides of the scientific presentations can be found on the internal pages (sorted per WP).
